“My husband had been supported by Abri’s Employment Services when he joined Abri about six months before me, and he found the service hugely helpful. I had also seen the service advertised at a job fair and in the library. Hearing about his positive experience with Abri encouraged me to seek new employment opportunities. Contacting the employment service was my first step towards this goal.

“Although I had lots of previous relevant experience I was a little under confident when applying for roles. I hadn’t interviewed for over five years, and in that time had been impacted by post-Covid syndrome which left me with some anxiety about changing jobs.

“Gill helped me tailor my CV to better present my relevant skills and employment. She was very kind, patient and encouraging. I left feeling prepared and confident.
